  Arminio Fraga
 

Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University, Mr. Fraga is the chairman of the BM&FBOVESPA Board of Directors and founding partner of Gavea Investimentos, an investment management firm. He was the president of the Central Bank of Brazil from 1999 to 2002.

  Arnaldo Jabor
 

Journalist and film maker, Mr. Jabor is a political commentator on Globo TV News and CBN talk radio. He is also a syndicated columnist who is published in a number of renowned Brazilian newspapers. His movies have received national and international acclaim.

  David Altig
 

PhD. in Economics from Brown University, Mr. Altig is senior vice president and director of research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He also serves as an adjunct professor of Economics at the University of Chicago. His research has focused on monetary and fiscal policy issues.

  Edward Misrahi
 

BA in Economics from Princeton University, Mr. Misrahi is a partner at Eton Park, where he is responsible for European and Emerging Market activities. Prior to joining Eton Park, he spent 13 years at Goldman Sachs.

BA in International Relations and French from the University of Pennsylvania and MBA from Columbia University, Mr. Shirvani is a managing director of Credit Suisse, based in London, and Head of Fixed Income for EMEA.

MSc in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Mr. Giambiagi is the head of the BNDES Market Risk Management Department. He was an IPEA researcher and professor at the PUC/RJ and UFRJ Universities. His articles and research papers have been published in Brazil and abroad.

BA in Economics and History from Duke University, Mr. Gave is the CEO of GaveKal and MW GaveKal, and a former financial analyst from Paribas Capital Markets.

  Maria Helena S. F. Santana
 

BA in Economics from the University of Sao Paulo, School of Economics, Ms. Santana is the president of the Brazilian SEC (CVM). She was responsible for the implementation of the Novo Mercado .

  Michael Covel
 

BA in Politics and Government from George Mason University and MBA from the Florida State University, Mr. Covel founded the website TurtleTrader.com in 1996. Author of Trend Following: How Great Traders Make Millions in Up or Down Markets, he also produced the documentary Broke: The New American Dream.

PhD. from the University of Chicago, Mr. Guedes is the founding partner of BR Investimentos, strategist for the BR Educacional private equity fund, the former CEO and founding partner of IBMEC, one of Brazil’s most prestigious business schools, and former founding partner of Banco Pactual.

Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mr. Rajan is a professor at the University of Chicago. He was the Chief Economist at the IMF from 2003 to 2007.

  Rita Laura D’Ecclesia
 

Ph.D. in Corporate Finance and Capital Markets from the University of Bergamo, Ms. D'Ecclesia is a full professor at the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’. Her research includes the carbon market within the European 2009 framework, energy commodities, new electricity market, and analysis of the credit risk market.

  Steven Drobny
 

MSc in Finance and Accounting from the London School of Economics and BS in Business Administration from Bucknell University, Mr. Drobny co-founded Drobny Global Advisors in 2000. He is the author of Inside the House of Money.
